As far as we know The Hand tavern was located along the old A 55 road just out side of Abergwyngregyn on the way past the old school on the left and up to Brn Meddyg in one of the fields on the left not far from where the phone mast is today and next door to a small farm called Tyddyn Isaf( lower Farm), by the time of the 1841 census it would look like the Tavern was used as a private residence and does not appear again
